More Bolivia…Pilot study for latrine handling in Montero, Santa Cruz
During 2017 A2T have, as a part of Tillväxtverkets Demo Grant, made a pilot study together with the water collective COSMOL, in the disposal of latrine and black water from households in Montero, Santa Cruz. The pilot study showed that today’s disposal of untreated toilet waste is in many cases released into the surrounding environment, with overhanging risk for disease contagion, water contamination and over-fertilising. A2T have, in the pilot study, dimensioned a
SaniC™ solution for treatment of toilet waste for up to 1000 people.
